Sissy's Day at the Oklahoma State Capital

Sissy's day at the Oklahoma State Capitol was to represent the

Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services

My day started like everyone else, I went through security.
I met a lot of new friends. Some even wanted to take me home with them, but mom wouldn't let me go.

I found new friends with needs like me. It made me happy to see I was not alone, and my friends were happy too.

I saw my new best friend there too, Jody Harlan with the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. She was the one who invited me to come to the capital that day. She gave me a big hug.
My mom talked to a man from the Oklahoman news paper, they took my picture and wrote a nice story about me.
By now I was getting tired, so I found my very own chair in a beautiful room and took a nap.
At the awards presentation, I met others who had been to Hanger Prosthetics.

I think I even met a Movie Star. It was a great day and I met a lot of new friends, I hope I get to see them again.
